Night Prayer 

For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;

Inspiration 

Sometimes we have seasons of separation from the ones we love. Perhaps a damaged relationship or a work commitment keeps us apart. But let’s not fail to pray for one another despite the distance. For we know that God can work through our varied and different experiences to draw us each closer to Him, giving us bonds strengthened by His Spirit when the reunion comes.

Prayer 

Lord, I come before You with the people that I miss on my heart and mind. I pray Lord that You would guide their paths, soften their hearts, and draw them nearer to You. Work in my own heart, too, during this time of separation, so that I may love and forgive more fully. And brings our paths to cross again when the time is right so that we may be reunited with the unity of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.
