Morning Prayer 

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Inspiration 

Our world is fallen, and we are faced with evil on a daily basis. And though we cannot escape evil, we are called to not participate in evil. Yet even those who are lost recognize what is true and honest. And when we choose the path of obedience, love, and peace, doing right even in the face of evil, God’s grace is revealed in us.

Prayer 

Lord, judgment and revenge are Yours alone. When I am faced with evil, I ask that You would give me power by Your Spirit to resist the temptation to retaliate. Give me wisdom to discern the right path, so that my actions may be pathways to Your peace in all circumstances. In Jesus’ name, amen.
