Night Prayer 

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Inspiration 

We change plans when we encounter the unexpected or learn new information. But God has no need to alter His plans. He knows the end from the beginning, and there is nothing that can surprise Him. His purpose will be fulfilled because He alone is God. So when we make our plans, we ought to avail ourselves of His wisdom and seek His purpose.

Prayer 

Lord God, You are eternal, all-knowing, and all-seeing. Nothing in the past, present, or future is hidden from You, for You are in control. Father, teach me to make my plans according to Your wisdom, to seek out Your purpose, so that I may walk in Your ways. In Jesus’ name, amen.
