Night Prayer 

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Inspiration 

No one enjoys admitting to sin. Sin separates us from God and distance is not what we desire. When it’s time to confess our sins, we must be sincere. Even though God already knows every mistake we’ve made and dark thought that’s crossed our mind, we cannot truly repent unless we are honest with ourselves about each transgression. God forgives our darkest wrongdoing when we come to Him in honesty and sincerity.

Prayer 

Dear God, please forgive us for hiding our wrongdoings. You know each sin before we repent so there is no reason to be deceptive. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
