Night Prayer
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Inspiration
We desire to be more patient in our everyday life. We become frustrated during our morning routine when running late and grow anxious if the lunch line is going too slow. We are agitated by slow moving traffic during the evening commute and become irritable when dinner takes longer than expected. Our impatience leads to anger and causes us to say hurtful words to one another. We must surrender these feelings of angst to the Lord and so our hearts will be opened to encourage one another and show God’s love to the world.
Prayer
Dear Father, our schedules are busy, and we become angry when we fall behind. Please forgive us for being impatient and help us show the light of Your love to the world through our words and actions each day In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
