Night Prayer 

While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

Inspiration 

While Job is digesting some terrible news and devising a plan to recover, his servant comes to tell him about another tragic misfortune. How often have we been resolving one problem only to find another has popped up? Some seasons of life bring us a pile of troubles; they start as small mounds and become mountains that feel impossible to climb. God is always present during our struggles and will encourage us by continually strengthening our faith when we call upon Him.

Prayer 

Dear Lord, We remain optimistic when problems overwhelm us. We have faith in Your plan and continually feel Your presence. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
