Night Prayer 

For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.

Inspiration 

We tend to cause ourselves considerable pain after getting involved in situations that cause sorrow and misery. Some struggles we see coming from afar while others move in quickly. We often feel battered and broken by the mighty waves of life; as hard as we try, we can't come up for air. We lean on Jesus to help us walk through life. He listens to our concerns and provides the strength to overcome any obstacle we face. The mighty waves of life are no match for us with Jesus by our side.

Prayer 

Dear God, we have a friend in Jesus. We are thankful for His selfless sacrifice and his commitment to our spiritual wellbeing. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
