Night Prayer
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Inspiration
We will respect our church and treat each other with love and kindness, lest we turn it into a marketplace full of thieves. We disagree with each other when planning activities or discussing the operations of our local church. Words of anger, frustration, or judgment steal peace and unity away from God's temple.
Prayer
Dear Father, we will be kind to one another as we gather in Your name and worship You. Help us treat one another with kindness so that our church remains a place of holiness. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

The original colonies of America offered Christians a safe haven to practice their religion in any way they saw fit. The city of Boston, one of the earliest settlements as well as one of the most puritanical places, was viewed by the early colonists as an example of Christian values that would shine to the entire world, as a "city on a hill." Many of the core values of the founding colonies are still central to the American way of life and western civilization as a whole.
As Christians we have a duty to share the truth of God's word with others and understand it ourselves. This light is a lamp at our feet, taking us out of darkness, into goodness. Like many of the states in early America, they thought this was a great responsibility, and did not want to keep their light to themselves.
Prayer
As the scriptures say, if you lit a candle, you wouldn't hide it under a bowl. You would let it shine, as a beacon on a hill, but first and foremost ...
Morning Prayer
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
Inspiration
God is a refuge, shelter, and place of rest for His people. Let us remember to follow His example. Our world abounds with countless souls who seek to find Him, and we must make ourselves available to witness in His name! We will make room in our busy schedules to talk to a friend who's hurting, minister to a needy community, or speak to a stranger who has never heard about Jesus. We always have time to be a shelter for others.
Prayer
Dear Lord, You have shown us how to comfort one another. Please guide us to help someone in need today. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
