Morning Prayer 

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Inspiration 

Here we see a great truth about the acquisition of Christlikeness by the believer. He beholds, contemplates, sees by faith the glory of Christ. And where is that found? It is found in God's Word! And beholding the glory of Jesus Christ, he is changed little by little into His image. But not automatically, but by the Spirit.

Prayer 

Help us to think and dwell on the glory of Christ, O Lord. Help us to see it in your Word and to see it with the eye of faith. Change us from "glory to glory" by your Spirit, in the way that Paul refers to in this precious and powerful verse. Amen.
