Morning Prayer 

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Inspiration 

The battles we face, as Christians, are not physical. Every form of opposition be it in man or in circumstances is spiritual. When we are faced by violent people, those people have subjected themselves to the influence of violent spirits. We cannot afford to not see everything as spiritual. But as much as we may have many spiritual enemies, we are not without defense. God has equipped us and He covers us to ensure that the enemy will never overthrow us, no matter what.

Prayer 

Dear God, every day the enemy tries to attack your children through other people, authorities and other influences. Father, in times where the fight may seem like too much, I ask that you help us push through. May we never forget that we already have the victory because we are in Christ. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
