Morning Prayer

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Inspiration

When we are in Christ, we truly have nothing to fear or worry about because God always ensures things will work out for our good. When we live, we live to carry out work for God – evangelizing, ministering, helping those in need, etc. When we die, we don't lose. We return to our heavenly home, awaiting the day Christ returns to the world. As Christians, we have no reason to fear death because we know what waits for us on the other side – our hope remains valid.

Prayer

Dear God, I have total assurance about my life. A lot of people in this world fear death because they don't know where they are going afterwards. Thank you, Lord, for the assurance you have given me of the eternity I will spend with you. I live my life at peace, knowing that whether I am alive or whether I am dead, you are always for me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
